I’ve noticed a lot of hate on gilmoregirlsecrets lately. I feel like the only one who loves each character exactly the way they are, flaws and all.

Lorelai’s proposal

I know, Lorelai is an independent, self-confident woman and that’s what I love about her. She’s perfect for my feminist soul. But for some (inexplicable) reason I was shocked when it was her who proposed first.
I was really mad with Luke. And I still am.

I so wished that we had a Luke’s in our town. Or at least something similar…
A sarcastic and bad-tempered (but still kind) owner and funny people like Kirk and Taylor.

Lane Hypocrisy

I think it’s inconsistent that Lane is supposed to be rejecting the conventional upbringing she was subjected to but then her and Zack ask Luke to be godfather… I don’t know it’s sloppy writing, or if it’s supposed to be hypocritical.

The Gilmore boy I like on the show is Luke. Lorelai and Luke are perfect together. Rory’s cool single and the rest can go f**k themselves.

When imagining Luke & Lorelai’s wedding.. I imagine Jess being the best man. But who would the other groomsmen be? I really can’t think of anyone…Luke is a bit of a loner..
