I love the show and the dynamic between Rory and Lorelai.

That being said, Rory is so submissive to everything. If Lorelai wants her to do something, she does it. Or, if she fights it and goes her own way, the two stop talking until Rory eventually cave.

Yeah, mostly it’s a good relationship, but I think people forget how controlling Lorelai is. She is a lot like Emily in that way.

I don’t know how many people watch the abc family reruns, but I watch them every day. A few weeks ago the episode where Lorelai and Emily go to the spa was on. I was watching with my dad and the part with the restaurant was currently playing. According to my dad, the man who asked Emily to dance dated my grandmother many years ago. I thought it was really cool.
