it’s completely stupid that the new writers came in in season 7 and made lorelai get married and made logan propose. both of those things seem to be totally out of character. lorelai took marriage so seriously and she had to be so sure and 100% she would never EVER get married without rory there and i know she was upset about her missing it but real lorelai wouldn’t have done that (fake lorelai being new writer’s lorelai). also logan would never propose he wasn’t ready for marriage and it seemed like just a way to get rory single for the end.

sure luke may have been crazy about lorelai, but i believe chris was more on her level. they were totally witty and funny together. he always had horrible timing though.

The argument that Chris and Lorelai had during Haunted Leg made me realize how much I HATE Christopher. I’ve always disliked him throughout the series but that particular argument really got me angry.

I think the one for chris was truly Lorelai.
with that said i think the one for Lorelai was Luke.

There was a part of me that felt bad for Christopher in season 7, when Lorelai jumped into marriage with him to erase Luke.

However, there was a larger part of me that didn’t care how bad he felt. After everything he put Lorelai through, I feel like all the things he felt in the 7th season were totally deserved. Dude needed some comeuppance.

I cried more at Lorelai’s heart break over Luke (when she gave him the ultimatum) than over any heart break I have personally experienced.

And I never felt more justified than when Luke went and punched Christopher in the face. Christopher needed to be punched in the face. Repeatedly. Every day.

Sorry for the mini Christopher hate session there.

For me, the most heartbreaking moment of the entire series is not the Luke/Lorelai breakups, though those do run a close second, it is the "I just want you to know that you are the man that I want to want" to Christopher. I am Luke/Lorelai ALL THE WAY. I actually cannot stand Chris. But that moment, it is just so full of emotion it kills me every time.
