Corean characters, Japanese actresses

don’t you think it’s curious that two Japanese origin actresses (Keiko Agena - Lane, Emily Kuroda - Mrs. Kim) play Korean characters?

I think it’s curious because usually it’s the other way around: Japanese characters are seldom played by Japanese (or of Japanese descent) actors and usually are played by Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese or whatever Asian-featured-actors they manage to find.

That’s a good assumption actually. That never even crossed my mind. To me it seemed like she was shocked by something said by the minister type man, and then stormed out with Mrs Kim but we didn’t know what he said because he was talking Korean. Hmm You may be right.
